Hi! I’m A. J. Darkholme.

Creativity is my lifeblood. I love learning - anything and everything! I’ve been a K-12 teacher, federal government IT specialist, unlicensed psychologist, plumber, electrician, carpenter, general handyman/tradesman, computer builder/architect, entrepreneur, investor, graphic artist, poet, author, musician, and voice actor.

But most importantly a husband to an amazing wife and father to 3 amazing kids (ages 3,6, and 9) :)

I try to lead a life that’s inspiring to others; I don’t drink; I don’t smoke; and I only steal when it’s romantic (as in “stole her heart/a glance”, not, like “Hey - let’s swipe that bread off the shelf of this grocery store and make a “romantic” run for it haha Come to think of it… that would make for a memorable date *scribble scribble… just kidding)

When I don’t know how to do something, I learn how to! Then I try passing it on in a fun way - either to the kids or to the masses. In song, book, a kind and heartfelt word while hanging out…

It’s crazy how much you can learn over time taking it one day at a time. It’s a satisfying “slow burn” mantra that makes for a happy life.

So what do I do with all that knowledge? I create.
Next up - music, poetry art books, children’s books, and new Christmas stories :)
